What it finds

Apps first, and a handful of other things that are just as quick to reach by name.

Applications

Everything in Applications, Utilities and the system’s own app folders, plus ~/Applications and any folders you add in Settings. Raven watches them, so a newly installed app shows up within a second or two.

System Settings

Every pane, found by name: priva offers Privacy & Security. The list comes from macOS itself, so it matches whatever version you run.

Shortcuts

Your Apple Shortcuts, by name. They keep working if you rename them.

Quit and Force Quit

Every running app you’d recognise has both. Force Quit asks first, since there’s no save prompt and no undo.

Sound output

Switch the output device by name. Alert sounds move with it.

Bangs and web search

A bang turns a keyword into a web address: w muninn searches Wikipedia. Add your own in Settings, using {query} for what you type after the keyword and {clipboard} for the clipboard. A bang without {query} is a bookmark, opened by its keyword alone.

When nothing else matches, Raven offers to search the web with DuckDuckGo, Google, Kagi or Bing, whichever you choose.

URL aliases

A name for an address: reddit opens https://reddit.com, and muninn could open muninn://today.
